MeiMei's performing experience includes -
* Performing as Jurong (one of the three main characters) in opera “Confucius Says” by Richard Taylor & Stephen Plaice at the Hackney Empire, London, July 2008.
* Acting and dancing in “Lighten Up” by Theatre-Rites at the Unicorn Theatre. Feb – Mar 2008.
* Acting, playing zheng (Chinese zither), singing and dancing in the play “The First Emperor” by Yellow Earth Theatre for/at the British Museum. Oct – Nov 2007.
* Acting, dancing, singing and playing zheng in Peace Pagoda Act 1 at the Linbury Theatre of the Royal Opera House. February, 2007.
* Playing zheng, singing and dancing at HARMONY ensemble’s annual concerts at the Edinburgh Fringe, August, 2006 & 2007.
* Performing her solo dance which was selected from over two thousands performers from all over the UK to be part of a BBC2 talent show - LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU and it was broadcasted on the 13th September 2006.
* Taking part in The Big Dance – a world record breaking dance performance at Trafalgar Square, London, which was broadcasted live on BBC1 on the 22nd July 2006.
* Performing a 15 minute dance choreographed by herself at the Three Emperor’s Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, London. January 2006
* Performed zheng which was broadcast on Burns Night on BBC Radio Scotland. January 2005
* In January 2005 she choreographed a thirty minute dance drama based on a Chinese legend and performed as the female lead, as part of the Celtic Connections Festival at the Tramway Theatre, Glasgow.
* In October 2003 she performed solo dances and also played zheng at the Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers at Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
* In January 1999 she performed a contemporary dance on China Central Television, Beijing, China.
* In July 1997 she led a dance group, which performed a Miao folk dance on China Central Television, Beijing, China.
